Database Team Lead

10 years of overall development experience

5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role

Experience building and optimizing big data data pipelines, architectures, and data sets

5+ years experience in writing SQL statements

Experience in Spring/Spring Boot framework

Experience in relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle SnowFlake, BigQuery, and other cloud databases

Experience in implementing web services such as SOAP and RESTful web services

Experience in frontend frameworks such as Angular, jQuery, and Bootstrap

Has experience with real-time and batch data processing

Experience with ETL frameworks such as Google Cloud Data platform or Apache Beam

Experience with analyzing data and deriving insights

Have experience in leading small to midsize technical team

Has customer-facing experience and managing deliverables

Good verbal and written communication skills

Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies

Advanced knowledge of software testing methodologies, scripting, and tools

Minimum experience of three or more full SDLC for web application projects

Good to have:

Experience in Agile development environments

Experience in messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ
