Database Migration Engineer

We are looking for Database Migration Engineers to support migration from CouchDB to DynamoDB. The role involves working closely with internal teams on data modeling, migration pipelines, and API integrations, while ensuring performance, data integrity, and scalability during migration.

Shift: Night Shift (7:00PM IST- 4:00 AM IST)

Job Description:

• Engineers to support migration from CouchDB to DynamoDB

• Work closely with internal teams on data modeling, migration pipelines, and API integrations

• Ensure performance, data integrity, and scalability during migration

Scope of Work:

• Migrate datasets from CouchDB → DynamoDB

• Design and optimize DynamoDB schemas and access patterns

• Build/modify APIs for data movement and validation

• Integrate caching layer using ElastiCache where applicable

• Perform testing, validation, and performance tuning

Must Have:

• Strong experience with DynamoDB

• Hands-on experience with CouchDB

• Experience working with APIs / backend services

• Familiarity with AWS services (especially DynamoDB, Lambda)

• Experience in data migration projects

Good to Have:

• Experience with ElastiCache

• Knowledge of NoSQL data modeling patterns

• Performance optimization for large-scale migrations
