Database Lead/ Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
• Manage and mentor a team of database professionals in designing, developing, and maintaining database systems.
• Conduct training programs for staff on database development and maintenance best practices.
• Recruit and develop top-tier talent while leveraging external resources for critical initiatives.
• Provide regular updates on database project status to management.
• Database Design & Management:
• Provide guidance on database structures, features, and architecture.
• Develop standard procedures to enhance scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee installation, migration, and upgrade of databases.
• Ensure database solutions meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
• Performance & Troubleshooting:
• Troubleshoot complex database issues accurately and promptly.
• Identify and resolve performance and capacity issues.
• Prepare reports on database scalability, capacity planning, and operations metrics.
• Agile Processes & Product Delivery:
• Implement agile methodologies and performance metrics to ensure efficient and focused product development.
• Ensure successful delivery of multiple products on time and with quality.
• Stay updated with new database technologies and integrate them into existing infrastructure when applicable.
