Database Developer / SQL Developer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
. Design, develop, and maintain database objects using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
. Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
. Perform query profiling, execution plan analysis, and SQL performance tuning.
. Identify and troubleshoot deadlocks, slow-running queries, and database performance issues.
. Optimize indexes and improve database efficiency and response times.
. Perform basic database administration and maintenance activities.
. Collaborate with developers and other technical teams to support application and database requirements.
. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficient database operations.
. Support database troubleshooting and performance improvement activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in database development or SQL development.
. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
. Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and index optimization.
. Knowledge of query profiling, execution plans, deadlock troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
. Basic understanding of database administration and maintenance.
