Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL applications on Oracle database.
  • Design and optimize schemas, queries, and stored procedures for performance.
  • Support application teams by ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and implement fixes to support business-critical functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align database solutions with project needs.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with database development and performance tuning for Oracle, Postgres, and MySQL.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize database schemas, procedures, and functions.
  • Experience in schema migration, data indexing, and ensuring database connectivity to target systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in schema optimization and replication strategies.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning for large transactional systems.
  • Exposure to capital markets applications and BFSI systems.
  • Understanding of disaster recovery and high availability strategies.
