Job Title: Database Developer (SQL / MySQL / MS SQL Server)

Experience Level: 6 – 8 Years

Location: Any India-based Infosys DC Location

Mandatory Skills: T-SQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL

Mode of Selection: Interview-based

The client will conduct a 60-minute technical interview structured as follows:

• 15 minutes: Assessment of theoretical knowledge related to SQL and database concepts
• 45 minutes: Hands-on exercises focused on writing and executing SQL queries in real-time

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Database Developer with strong hands-on experience in MySQL and MS SQL Server. The candidate must be proficient in writing, executing, and optimizing SQL queries, including T-SQL, and should be comfortable solving real-time query-based problems during live technical evaluations.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience working with relational databases and demonstrate the ability to write efficient, scalable, and performance-optimized queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and execute complex SQL queries on MySQL and MS SQL Server databases
• Develop solutions using T-SQL and advanced SQL techniques
• Work extensively with joins, subqueries, views, stored procedures, and indexes
• Analyze database queries and optimize performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve database query-related issues
• Participate in live query-based problem-solving during technical interviews

Required Skills:

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience with relational databases
• Strong expertise in:
• MySQL
• MS SQL Server
• T-SQL
• Proven ability to write complex and optimized SQL queries
• Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing strategies
• Experience working with stored procedures, triggers, views, and query optimization

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with database performance tuning
• Familiarity with database troubleshooting and debugging
• Ability to handle real-time query challenges in live technical environments
