Database Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex databases using Postgres, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Write and review complex PGSQL queries, procedures, and functions, while preventing blocking and deadlocks.
• Conduct code reviews for SQL objects and perform performance tuning to enhance database efficiency.
• Consult with application developers, providing expert suggestions and solutions for database-related challenges.
• Demonstrate strong logical thinking to address RDBMS and NoSQL concepts, and manage transaction databases with ACID properties effectively.

Qualification & Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in database design and development with Postgres DB.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL and PGSQL, along with hands-on experience in performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of transaction databases (OLTP) and experience handling large-scale application databases.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
