Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex databases using Postgres, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Write and review complex PGSQL queries, procedures, and functions, while preventing blocking and deadlocks.
- Conduct code reviews for SQL objects and perform performance tuning to enhance database efficiency.
- Consult with application developers, providing expert suggestions and solutions for database-related challenges.
- Demonstrate strong logical thinking to address RDBMS and NoSQL concepts, and manage transaction databases with ACID properties effectively.
Qualification & Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in database design and development with Postgres DB.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL and PGSQL, along with hands-on experience in performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of transaction databases (OLTP) and experience handling large-scale application databases.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
