Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design, implement, and optimize complex database systems and data models to support business intelligence (BI) and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will define data standards, identify gaps in existing systems, and recommend solutions to improve system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define data standards and models to support data warehouse activities.
• Design, implement, and deploy complex relational or dimensional data models for BI initiatives.
• Identify inefficiencies and gaps in current data warehouses and propose optimized solutions.
• Optimize and tune data loads, extractions, queries, and stored procedures to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and architecture.
• Stay updated with developments in data management, database technologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing relational and dimensional data models.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI systems.
• Expertise in SQL, database optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with documentation standards and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
