We are looking for a skilled Database Application Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL-based solutions. The ideal candidate will build scalable database components, collaborate closely with application teams, and contribute to high-performance data operations. Experience with RDF reporting and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex queries.
Improve the performance, reliability, and efficiency of existing database programs by optimizing and refactoring code.
Work hands-on with relational database concepts to support data-driven application features.
Partner with cross-functional development teams to translate functional needs into scalable database solutions.
Ensure code quality through adherence to best practices, standards, and structured documentation.
Participate in debugging, testing, and resolving database-related issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills
Strong, practical experience with PL/SQL development.
Ability to write clean, efficient, and high-performance PL/SQL code.
Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture and SQL tuning.
Experience in troubleshooting and debugging database logic and stored programs.
Preferred Skills (Good To Have)
Familiarity with RDF (Report Definition File) reporting.
Exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments.
Work Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in PL/SQL or Oracle database development.
