Description
We are seeking a Database and Edit Check UAT Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing database applications and ensuring that edit checks are functioning correctly, contributing to the overall quality of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for database and edit checks.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for database applications.
- Identify and document defects and issues in the database systems.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on testing progress.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans and test scripts.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with SQL querying and data validation techniques.
- Experience with UAT processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of software testing principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
