3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft Reporting Services.
Working knowledge of Data Governance and principals.
Excellent interpersonal, creative and communication skills that allow effective, proactive working relationships in a team-oriented environment.
Experience in tracing data errors/discrepancies and performing data reconciliations.
Must be analytical, results-driven and able to employ the right approach and methods to make the maximum use of time and resources.
Strong SQL expertise with the ability to write complex queries.
Working knowledge of automation scripting such as PowerShell and Python.
Key Responsibilities
Work with development teams, architects and business stakeholders to ensure the Database infrastructure is aligned with business requirements and IT standards.
Actively seek opportunities to improve processes.
Create and tune SSIS packages, stored procedures, SQL performance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions across multiple databases
Assist in routine Database Support tasks such as performance tuning, indexing, backups, and monitoring.
Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Develop data workflows using Azure Synapse pipelines for analytics and reporting.
Support data integration between SQL Server, Oracle, and DynamoDB environments.
Collaborate with teams to support cloud database solutions in Azure and AWS.
Ensure database performance, integrity, and security across environments.
Implement data solutions along with team with high quality to ensure alignment with the data architecture and applicable standards.
Participate in the planning, development, maintenance, installation, configuration, documentation, training and implementation of data solutions.
Perform database analysis and support other data-related issues.
Quickly troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems and follow-up with root cause analysis & solution.
Support database related security and audit all database events in DBA ticketing system.
Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Provide 24x7 on call support for critical production systems.
