Job Title: PostgreSQL DBA (Kubernetes, Cassandra)

Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases (minimum 2 years of hands-on experience).
- Manage and monitor Cassandra databases for distributed and high-availability applications.
- Automate routine tasks using Bash scripting or other relevant tools.
- Deploy and manage database environments on Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and security procedures.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable database solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator across various database platforms.
- At least 2 years of hands-on PostgreSQL administration experience.
- Proven expertise in PostgreSQL performance tuning, replication, and HA solutions.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Apache Cassandra architecture and operations.
- Strong SQL skills and query optimization experience.
- Experience with backup/recovery tools (pg_dump, pg_basebackup, WAL archiving).
- Hands-on with monitoring and alerting tools.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
