- Manage and administer SQL Server and Oracle databases in production environments
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
- Design and implement high availability and scalable database solutions
- Handle backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Monitor database performance and resource utilization
- Work on ETL processes and data integration pipelines
- Implement data security, compliance, and governance policies
- Support data migration and modernization initiatives
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for incident management and RCA
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in SQL Server (Primary) and Oracle (Secondary)
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL (PaaS)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance
- Experience in backup, restore, and disaster recovery
- Exposure to Azure/AWS cloud platforms
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell or similar)
- Experience in performance monitoring and optimization
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
