Must have skills

On Premises DB2 LUW & z/OS administration

Secondary Skill as Netezza DBA experience (Mandatory)

Backup & recovery (using tools like TSM, NetBackup)

Performance tuning & query optimization

Troubleshooting DB2 errors & connectivity issues

Applying fix packs, patches, and version upgrades

User access & security management

Monitoring tools (e.g., IBM Data Studio, OEM, Nagios)

Good to have skills

Shell scripting / automation (Bash, Python)

Experience with HADR, Q-replication

Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem)

Exposure to cloud DB services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL)

Basic understanding of other RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server)
