Database Administartor - IBM Netezza
Location - Kochi
Experience - 8 to 13 years
Notice period - Immediate to 45 days
- Must have 5-7 years of hands-on Database administrator experience on IBM Netezza (a.k.a IBM Pure Data for Analytics)
- Should be highly experienced in all aspects of DBA (Database maintenance, backups & system upkeeping)
- Must have 3-5 years of Redhat Openshift experience (as the database is running in AWS PaaS).
- Must have worked on AWS PaaS environment for minimum 2 years and should have basic exposure to EC2, NLB/ALB, IAM, S3, VPC endpoints and end point services.
- Must have both DDL and DML experience.
- Should be willing to do data modeling working with stake holders.
- Should be acting as a technical data steward maintaining meta data. So, experience with any of the Data Governance tools such as Alation or Datahub would be an added advantage.
- Should be willing to stretch when the system goes through upgrades, maintenance and installs.
- Should know the basics of Active Directory & N/W.
- Should have shell scripting knowledge.
- Exposure to control M schedule would be a plus.
