Job Title: Snowflake Database Administrator (5-8 Years) Hyderabad-Hybrid
Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake DBA to manage and optimize our Snowflake environment. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Snowflake administration, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Snowflake databases: user/security management, performance tuning, HA, space management, backup & recovery
- Automate deployments and DBA tasks using Python, Shell, PLSQL, and tools like Ansible/Terraform
- Troubleshoot Snowflake issues and ensure high availability
- Implement security practices: encryption, masking, and regular audits for PII/PCI data
- Optimize queries and Snowflake performance
- Monitor and maintain capacity planning, utilization, and alerts
- Develop workflows using Python/PowerShell and orchestration tools (Airflow or similar)
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5-8 years experience as Snowflake DBA
- Strong in Snowflake, ANSI-SQL, Dimensional Data Modeling, Snowflake AI/ML, Snowflake Data Science
- Expertise in AWS, ETL concepts, and orchestration tools
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell, Ansible, Terraform)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
