Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise-level database systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance, and scalable database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineering teams to gather requirements and improve database systems.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain database systems ensuring high availability and security.
• Design and support 24x7 high-availability solutions for mission-critical environments.
• Optimize database and server performance, including hardware and OS configurations.
• Develop and tune queries, stored procedures, ETL processes, and perform code reviews.
• Execute schema changes, bottleneck analysis, and ensure efficient recovery/restores.
• Plan for scalability and future growth of database systems.
• Ensure compliance with vendor licensing and security standards (PCI-DSS Level 1).
• Handle reporting, data import/export in formats like CSV, XML, and unstructured data.
• Document processes and provide technical support, including on-call production support.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and assist in architecture and design initiatives.
