As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing comprehensive procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and problem resolution to maintain database integrity and performance, while adapting to evolving project requirements and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize data management processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices in database management to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align database strategies with overall project goals.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
• Strong knowledge of database installation, configuration, and upgrading processes.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
• Ability to develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with database security management and compliance standards.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues.
