Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that database solutions align with organizational goals and support business operations effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. - Assist in the development of database policies and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration. - Strong understanding of database management systems and their architecture. - Experience with database backup and recovery techniques. - Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization strategies. - Familiarity with security protocols and data protection measures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
