Role Summary
SAP DWC OBIEE/PB specialist will be responsible, for analyzing and designing data warehouse modelling for OBIEE/PB Reports, Dashboards
Will be responsible for managing project timelines and deliverables, as well as providing technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
Summary of Role Responsibilities
Key Skills
- Reports and Dashboard Development: Creation of interactive dashboards and analytical applications to deliver business insights with OBIEE / Power BI data visualization tools.
- Data Modelling: Designing analytical models, repository, presentation layer including calculated measures, restricted measures, and advanced formulas. OBIEE Repository and Power BI Power Query (M) & DAX skills to create model to be used.
- Migration: Migration from OBIEE to Power BI modern analytics for rebuilding metadata (RPD), converting logic (SQL to DAX).
- Connectivity: Experience data connections to SAP HANA, SQL Databases, and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Cloud technology.
- Performance Optimization: Tuning Reports and dashboards and models for efficient performance and faster rendering.
- Security and Administration: Managing roles, permissions, and data security within OBIEE / Power BI.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions using OBIEE/Power BI technologies with backend as SAP Retail System.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts by using OBIEE , Power BI tools for presentation layer
- Experience with data modelling and data architecture principles
- Experience with OBIEE / Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
