Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Data Visualization Engineer with strong expertise in Looker, LookerML, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building interactive dashboards, optimizing data models, and delivering actionable insights to support business decision-making. Experience in the media domain (OTT, DTH, Web) is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Looker and LookerML
- Build and optimize LookML models, explores, and derived tables
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries in BigQuery
- Ensure high performance of dashboards through efficient data modeling and aggregation techniques
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into insights
- Implement data governance, security, and access controls in Looker
- Leverage GCP services to build scalable and reliable data solutions
- Maintain and enhance existing dashboards aligned with business KPIs
- Troubleshoot issues related to performance, data accuracy, and visualization
- Document dashboards, data models, and processes for knowledge sharing
- Support transition and handover of existing BI solutions
Qualifications- 3-8 years of experience in data visualization and BI development
- Strong expertise in Looker & LookerML (Views, Explores, Derived Tables)
- Advanced knowledge of SQL (especially BigQuery)
- Experience with GCP (BigQuery and related services)
- Good understanding of data modeling, ETL, and database concepts
- Familiarity with data governance and security practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Good to Have- Experience in media domain (OTT, DTH, Web platforms)
- Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio
- Knowledge of Python or automation scripting
- Understanding of machine learning or predictive analytics
