Data Technical Lead

Position Summary

Data Technical Lead responsible for designing and implementing Azurebased data lake and Databricks solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver datadriven insights.

About the Role

In this role you will design and maintain scalable data lake storage on Azure, build endtoend ETL pipelines using Databricks, and develop robust data models to support

analytics. You will write Python scripts leveraging data analysis tools, optimize pipeline performance, and ensure data quality and governance. Additionally, you will engage with

business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and present solution designs. You will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to

junior team members, fostering best practices across the data engineering team.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Azure Data Lake Storage solutions to support enterprise data needs.

Develop, test, and maintain ETL pipelines using Databricks components and best practices.

Create and refine data models and schemas to enable efficient data analysis and reporting.

Write Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis using modern data analysis libraries.

Optimize Databricks workloads for performance, cost, and scalability.

Ensure data quality, lineage, and documentation throughout the data lifecycle.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Proficiency in Azure Data Lake Storage for scalable data storage solutions.

Strong knowledge of Databricks fundamentals and component implementation.

Experience using Python data analysis tools for data manipulation and insight generation.

Expertise in data modeling and design to create robust data structures.

Experience designing ETL processes, data architecture, and pipeline workflows.
