Description
The Learning and Development Team seeks a dedicated Data Specialist to join our dynamic, analytics-focused environment. In this role, you will serve as the primary data expert responsible for transforming LMS data into actionable insights to enhance training effectiveness.
As a Data Specialist, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to understand data requirements, perform comprehensive analysis of learning metrics, and create compelling reports that inform strategic decisions.
Key job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting solutions using Learning Management System (LMS) data
- Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to identify learning trends, completion rates, and training effectiveness metrics
- Create automated dashboards and recurring reports that provide real-time visibility into learning program performance
- Develop ad-hoc analytical reports to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making
- Partner with Learning and Development teams, training managers, and business leaders to understand analytical requirements
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences
- Identify opportunities to enhance LMS reporting capabilities and data collection processes
- Thrive in ambiguous situations by quickly adapting to evolving priorities and finding solutions with limited guidance.
- Implement data quality controls and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and resolve technical issues
- Document analytical processes and create user guides for reporting tools

The Learning and Development team is dedicated to designing evidence-based training programs that follow adult learning principles to maximize knowledge retention and minimize cognitive overload. We focus on delivering comprehensive learning experiences including onboarding programs, refresher trainings, assessments and continuous development initiatives that directly impact organizational effectiveness and employee growth.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Excel skills to be able to refine data and prepare business reports
