Role Overview
Our finance data interns play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality datasets. You will support the Extraction-QA-Feedback-Delivery process, learning how to curate and structure data to meet specific client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Quality & Audit: Assist in extracting, QC-ing, and auditing datasets to ensure 100% accuracy before client delivery.
- Troubleshooting: Research issues associated with data tools and highlight trends or exceptions that require fixes.
- Bug Reporting: Actively catch and report bugs to the development team to improve the robustness of our software.
- Process Improvement: Suggest ideas to bring efficiency and structure to existing workflows.
- AI Support: Assist our AI models by manually parsing data, helping to bridge the gap for process automation.
- Domain Research: Conduct preliminary research to build subject matter expertise in specific financial sectors.
- Operational Ownership: Manage daily deliverables and learn to navigate the end-to-end operations process.
Requirements:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree (Finance, Commerce, or Economics preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets is required.
- Basic understanding of private market and M&A is required.
- Analytical Mindset: A strong detective instinct with excellent attention to detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with SQL, XPath, or any coding language is a significant plus. Communication: An active listener who can effectively translate complex instructions into action.
- Attitude: An open-minded, motivated self-starter with a positive approach to problem-solving.
