Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
This role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and US-based customers to deliver enterprise-grade predictive models and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop AI/ML predictive models using enterprise and industry data to enhance business decision-making.
- Engage with senior executives and key stakeholders to understand business objectives, data needs, and success metrics, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value.
- Lead the implementation, testing, validation, and deployment of machine learning models that are accurate, scalable, reliable, and production-ready.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to integrate AI/ML models into production applications and product ecosystems.
- Analyze complex structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights and improve model performance.
- Define and manage data requirements, data quality checks, and end-to-end data pipelines including extraction, transformation, and integration.
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML trends, research, and best practices, incorporating innovations into solution design where applicable.
- Drive technical direction for AI/ML initiatives, mentor junior team members, and promote best practices and continuous improvement.
- Partner with frontend, mid-tier, and backend teams to ensure effective deployment and real-world impact of AI/ML solutions.
- Independently solve complex and ambiguous problems, applying strong theoretical and practical ML expertise.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML predictive models in production environments.
- Strong expertise in machine learning techniques including regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis, and deep learning.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R, with extensive experience using ML libraries such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
- Solid experience in data wrangling, feature engineering, model validation, and testing across large, complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, distributed computing, and big data technologies.
- Proven ability to build robust, scalable, and high-performance models for enterprise use cases.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical stakeholders.
Domain & Preferred Experience
- Strong knowledge of the P&C Insurance domain, including claims prediction, risk modeling, pricing optimization, or customer segmentation.
- Experience working with US-based customers and stakeholders.
- Exposure to high-performance computing environments.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring team members, or guiding projects.
- Experience with GenAI solutions and Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
