Job Role: Senior Data Scientist

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Pune

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to solve business problems using data, statistics, and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Statistics, and Experimentation, along with the ability to turn data into meaningful business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business and product teams to understand problems and define measurable goals.
• Build and validate machine learning models for forecasting, classification, recommendations, or NLP.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments to measure business impact.
• Apply statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support data-driven decisions.
• Develop data pipelines and perform data preparation and feature engineering.
• Work with Data Engineers and ML Engineers to move models into production.
• Monitor model performance, data quality, and analytical results.
• Present insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Review technical work and mentor junior Data Scientists.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science / Applied Data Science.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of Statistics, Probability, and Hypothesis Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and model development.
• Experience with A/B Testing, Experimentation, or Causal Inference.
• Experience working with Data Pipelines and ETL.
• Understanding of production ML and model monitoring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
