Data Scientist — Responsibilities (Concise)

- Identify decision problems where modelling creates measurable value
- Prepare production-ready datasets, build and validate predictive / statistical models, and drive data-driven experimentation
- Deploy models into production pipelines, and monitor performance, drift, and retraining needs
- Translate outputs into quantified business impact (revenue, risk, cost)
- Ensure cost-aware and efficient model design (compute, data, and operational efficiency)
- Influence adoption by enabling stakeholders to act on model-driven insights
Mandatory Skills
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI.
- Experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Pipelines.
- Strong exposure to Agentic AI.
- Experience with Machine Learning models.
- Proficiency in Python (Mandatory).
- Strong SQL skills (Mandatory).
- Experience in deployment of AI/ML applications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Vector Databases.
- Experience with PostgreSQL (preferred/advantage).
- Familiarity with coding best practices.
Preferred Candidate Background
- Candidates from leading consulting companies or top MNCs are preferred.
- Candidates with a Data Scientist title or those started their career and currently working as Data Scientist/AI/ML Engineers.
- Candidates should have hands-on project experience and scenario-based exposure rather than only theoretical knowledge.
Ensure the candidate has:
- Relevant hands-on experience in LLMs, GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI.
- Strong Python and SQL expertise.
- Experience in deploying AI/ML solutions.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
