We're looking for a talented Data Scientist to join a growing analytics and AI team, where you'll work at the intersection of data science, machine learning engineering, MLOps, and Generative AI. This is an opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end projects, from exploratory analysis and model development through to deployment and monitoring in production environments.

You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and scalable AI-powered solutions.

The Role

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and production-ready AI systems that support strategic decision-making and product innovation.

Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you'll leverage modern ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and Generative AI technologies to solve complex business challenges and enhance product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data ingestion through to production deployment.
• Build scalable feature engineering, model training, and model monitoring workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
• Translate research and prototype models into reliable, tested, and maintainable services.
• Implement AutoML and hyperparameter optimisation frameworks to accelerate experimentation.
• Own the MLOps lifecycle, including model versioning, deployment, monitoring, retraining, drift detection, and A/B testing.
• Develop and maintain performance observability and governance processes.
• Evaluate and integrate cloud-based machine learning platforms.
• Contribute to Generative AI initiatives including prompt engineering, LLM integration, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Ensure machine learning models meet performance, fairness, security, and compliance requirements.

About You

You are a technically strong and commercially minded Data Scientist with experience delivering machine learning solutions in production environments.

You'll bring:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, and LightGBM.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools including MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, DVC, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Git, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Generative AI technologies, including OpenAI APIs, LangChain, embeddings, RAG architectures, and LLM fine-tuning.
• Exposure to cloud ML platforms such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with AutoML frameworks such as FLAML, AutoGluon, or H2O.
• Understanding of model governance, AI ethics, and responsible AI practices.
