What Will Your Day Look Like
Risk Strategy & Leadership
- Lead a dynamic team in delivering high-impact risk solutions across credit risk domains including underwriting, exposure controls, and line management
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across product, data science, and engineering to drive implementation of risk strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and partner teams for smooth execution of risk initiatives
Data-Driven Decisioning
- Analyze credit loss trends, simulate risk strategies, and recommend improvements to optimize revenue and approval rates
- Recommend and support deployment of credit risk decisioning and scoring models in collaboration with data science teams
- Build risk scorecards leveraging both internal and external data for use in underwriting and account reviews
Execution & Communication
- Manage timelines and ensure on-time project delivery under tight deadlines
- Identify and evaluate new data sources for improved credit risk differentiation
- Develop presentations and reports to communicate strategy and outcomes to leadership and senior stakeholders
To Help Us Level Up, You Will Ideally Have
- Quantitative degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience analyzing data using SQL and tools like Python, R, or Databricks in a finance or analytics role
- 2+ years of experience leading high-performing analytics teams
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with non-traditional data sources (e.g., social media) is a plus
- Prior credit risk model building experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive communicator with strong awareness of risk and fraud
