Role Overview
The Data Scientist will be responsible for leveraging data to drive business insights, build predictive models, and enable data-driven decision-making across functions. The role involves working closely with product, engineering, and business teams to develop scalable data solutions, enhance customer experience, and optimize operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business performance
- Support decision-making through data-backed recommendations
Machine Learning & Model Development
- Build, train, and deploy machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering, recommendation systems)
- Continuously monitor and improve model performance
- Work on use cases like customer segmentation, churn prediction, and personalization
Data Engineering & Pipelines
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and workflows
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility
- Collaborate with engineering teams for production deployment
Experimentation & Performance Tracking
- Conduct A/B testing and experiments to improve product features
- Track key metrics and evaluate impact of data-driven initiatives
- Build dashboards and reports for stakeholders
AI & Innovation
- Explore and implement AI/LLM-based solutions
- Stay updated with advancements in AI, ML, and analytics
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and enhance efficiency
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in Data Science / Analytics (can adjust based on role)
- Experience with ML models, data handling, and analytics tools
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and big data tools is a plus
