About noon
We're building an ecosystem of digital products and services that power everyday life across the Middle East-fast, scalable, and deeply customer-centric. Our mission is to deliver to every door every day. We want to redefine what technology can do in this region, and we're looking for a Data Scientist who can help us move even faster.
Noon's fastest hyper-local delivery platform, Noon Minutes, offers a localized assortment of FMCG & grocery products with delivery within 15-minutes. Currently live across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, offering thousands of products to customers in record time.
noon's mission: Every door, every day
What you'll do:
Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we've encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward. As a Growth Data Scientist at noon Minutes, you will build the models and systems that power smarter customer engagement, promotional efficiency, and business performance-working at the intersection of ML, experimentation, and commercial impact.
- Build and own ML models for customer segmentation, propensity scoring, and lifecycle prediction to enable targeted, high-ROI growth interventions.
- Design and iterate on promotional optimisation systems-modelling incrementality, testing coupon strategies across customer segments, and optimising budget allocation.
- Develop automated performance monitoring and anomaly detection pipelines that surface meaningful signals across key growth metrics.
- Design, analyse, and improve experimentation frameworks; ensure statistical rigour across A/B tests and incrementality studies.
- Work closely with product and engineering to take models from prototype to production-you own the full lifecycle, not just the notebook.
- Translate complex model outputs into clear, actionable insights for commercial and product stakeholders.
What you'll need:
- 1-3 years of experience in data science or applied ML, ideally in a consumer technology or e-commerce environment.
- Strong ML fundamentals -clustering, classification, regression, ranking, and reinforcement learning / bandit algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python; experienced with standard ML and data libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, pandas, etc.).
- Strong SQL skills; comfortable working with large-scale transactional datasets independently.
- Solid understanding of causal inference and experimentation- you know the difference between correlation and incrementality.
- Experience deploying models in production environments, not just research settings.
- Quick-commerce, e-grocery, or marketplace experience is a plus.
Who will excel
- We're looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters.
- You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action.
- We need people with the courage to be fiercely original.
- noon is not for everyone; readiness to adapt, pivot, and learn is essential.
