Role Overview

We are looking for hands-on Data Scientists / Machine Learning Engineers to build next-generation AI solutions involving NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs, Vector Search, and GenAI.

You will work on real-world enterprise problems spanning text, image, and multimodal AI, taking models from experimentation to production.

This role is ideal for candidates who combine strong ML fundamentals, production mindset, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy ML models for NLP, CV, and GenAI use cases
• Work with transformer-based architectures (BERT/RoBERTa/GPT-style models)
• Build semantic search and retrieval pipelines using vector databases
• Perform EDA, curate datasets, and drive data-centric ML improvements
• Implement similarity search (cosine, dot-product, clustering, ANN)
• Develop ML pipelines using Python and Hugging Face ecosystem
• Containerize ML workloads using Docker and deploy via Kubernetes
• Debug Docker / ML runtime issues and optimize model performance
• Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver measurable outcomes
• Stay current with GenAI and Agentic AI trends

Required Technical Skills

Machine Learning & AI

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks
• Strong NLP fundamentals (embeddings, transformers, LLMs, VLMs)
• Practical experience in text + image processing (CV + NLP)
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts and Agentic AI

Vector Search & Retrieval

• Experience with FAISS, Milvus, Pinecone, or similar ANN libraries
• Similarity search techniques: cosine similarity, dot-product, clustering
  

Programming & Libraries

• Strong Python skills
• NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn
• Hugging Face Transformers
  

MLOps / Cloud

• Azure or any major cloud platform
• Docker & Kubernetes
• Docker error analysis for ML workloads

• Strong Git/version control practices
• Data-centric approach (EDA, dataset quality, feature curation)
• Business acumen and outcome-driven ML delivery

This is a strict Work From Office role in Chennai (no remote / hybrid).
