Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Analyst – Data Science with strong skills in predictive modeling and statistical analysis, particularly in the Automotive industry. The role focuses on building and validating risk and finance-related models, working with large-scale data, and delivering actionable insights to global automotive clients.

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role with direct client-facing responsibilities.

Experience: 3 to 6 years

Work Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Key Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and document ML predictive models for automotive risk and finance use cases.
• Execute data extraction and transformation using SQL.
• Apply statistical modeling, regression techniques, and machine learning algorithms to solve automotive industry challenges.
• Interpret model inputs/outputs and provide insights into vehicle performance, risk, and financial forecasting.
• Challenge traditional automotive finance models using advanced data science approaches.
• Work independently with clients and present results effectively.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Science / Predictive Analytics.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL.
• Experience with ML/statistical modeling, regression analysis, and validation.
• Automotive domain knowledge – familiarity with risk modeling, vehicle lifecycle analytics, warranty/claims analysis, or customer/finance-related insights.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Power BI, R, Excel preferred.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.
