- You will be part of the ITC Advanced Manufacturing Centre of Excellence (CoE) supporting advance analytics projects across ITCs Manufacturing operations across FMCG, Printing and Agri businesses.
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI projects, particularly within the manufacturing domain.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI models to solve complex manufacturing problems.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
- Implementation and scale up of other Industry 4.0 technologies like Image and Video analytics, AR/VR systems deployment for manufacturing processes and IoT connectivity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering and a passion for driving innovation and optimizing processes through data-driven solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation).
- At least 3 - 7 years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
- Experience with big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
