Role Overview
As a Data Scientist Intern, you'll work on analyzing datasets, building predictive models, and generating actionable insights. You'll gain hands-on experience with Python, pandas, scikit-learn, and visualization libraries while contributing to internal analytics or client-facing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets
- Perform exploratory data analysis and visualize key trends
- Build and evaluate machine learning models using scikit-learn or similar libraries
- Communicate findings through dashboards, reports, or presentations
- Collaborate with developers and domain experts to refine data pipelines
- Document workflows and maintain reproducible code using Git
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and model evaluation techniques
- Basic understanding of SQL and data querying
- Experience with Git and collaborative coding practices
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
