Duties
We are looking for a Data Scientist to support an operations transformation program for a leading player in metals space:
Must-Have Skills
- 3 TO 5 (Priority) or 5 to 7 years of total experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming for data analysis, modeling, and production-ready code
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Machine Learning algorithms, model development, validation, and deployment
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large, complex datasets
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools is preferred
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, metals, mining, or industrial operations analytics.
- Experience working in consulting engagements or cross-functional teams with business stakeholders.
Education
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field like Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field required. Advanced degree is a strong plus
