Role/ Job Title: Data Analyst/ Data Scientist
Location: Mumbai
Function/Department: Data & Analytics
Purpose:
For the role of a Data Analyst/ Data Scientist, the candidate needs to gain a deep understanding of the business, identify scope to use analytical solutions to aid business decision making and drive business outcomes. This is a techno-functional role where the candidate will have the opportunity to interact closely with the business stakeholders as well as explore new age analytical techniques. This role also encompasses leading and mentoring a team of Data Analysts
Job & Responsibilities:
- Scope business requirements and priorities through thorough understanding of the banking portfolios
- Gain expertise over data to derive meaningful insights. This includes in-depth exploration and comprehension of different data fields from the source systems and data marts
- Design and implement analytical solutions to meet business needs
- Explore different new age algorithms and advanced computational methods to develop robust models and analytical frameworks
- Perform case reviews to innovate on new variable ideas
- Create processes and controls to ensure that data, analyses, strategies and recommendations are accurate
- Have an understanding of model governance and key model/variable tracking metrics
- Challenge status quo to bring about efficient outcomes to existing processes
- Interact closely and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholder teams to bring consensus and reach conclusive outcomes
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team to aid in achieving organizational goals
- Understand the big picture of how analytical solutions drive business outcomes

Qualifications:
- Post-graduation with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience.
- Experience and understanding of advanced analytical tools such as SAS, Python, PySpark, Big Data environments
