Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Apply statistical programming skills using R or Python to analyze life sciences data.
Develop and implement machine learning models including regression, classification, clustering, SVM, and decision trees/random forests.
Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and feature engineering to support model development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business or research objectives and translate them into analytical solutions.
Utilize applied statistical knowledge including tests, distributions, regression, and maximum likelihood estimation.
Query databases using SQL, Hive, or Pig to extract and manipulate data.
Optionally work with ThingWorx Analytics and programming languages like Scala, Java, or C++ for advanced analytics tasks.
