Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data science and machine learning, including at least 2 years working specifically with Generative AI or LLMs. This role is critical to driving innovation, automation, and intelligent decision-making across BFSI applications.
Key Responsibilities
AI/ML Development & Deployment
- Identify AI use cases and develop tools for successful prototype delivery.
- Design and deploy AI-powered solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Build and integrate AI models with BFSI systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and scalable cloud-based infrastructure.
LLMOps Execution
- Manage end-to-end LLMOps activities including:
- Data preparation
- Model training
- Model deployment
- Model monitoring
Project Transition & Integration
- Lead the smooth transition of the voice and vernacular transactions project from the incumbent IT service provider.
- Implement WhatsApp integration to support customer-initiated and distributor-initiated transactions.
Customer Collaboration
- Work closely with clients to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements and automation across business functions.
GenAI Support L2/L3 Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for GenAI applications:
- Troubleshoot application breakdowns and data pipeline issues
- Address LLM response deviations and update/customize prompts
- Support backend code updates for dependent frameworks
- Ensure stability and performance of deployment pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI or LLMs
- Strong understanding of BFSI domain and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML frameworks
- Experience with LLMOps tools and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
