Data Scientist - Gen AI Engineer - 5+ years - Bengaluru/Gurugram

We are looking for a Data Scientist skilled in Gen AI Engineering with strong expertise in Python, Azure cloud technologies, FastAPI, SQL Server, and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable cloud-native data pipelines, API-driven architectures, and AI-ready data solutions to support analytics and Generative AI workloads.

Location – Bengaluru/ Gurugram

Responsibilities –

1. Design and develop scalable cloud-native data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.
2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI for AI/ML and analytics applications.
3. Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Python, and Databricks.
4. Work with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Azure AI Search for high-performance data solutions.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-ready datasets and scalable data architectures.

Requirements –

1. 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Gen AI Engineering roles.
2. Strong hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI, SQL Server, and Azure cloud services.
3. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks (PySpark), and API development.
4. Good understanding of Azure Cosmos DB and Azure AI Search concepts.
5. Exposure to GenAI, vector search, embeddings, AI/ML data workflows, and cloud-based architectures.
