About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Digital Advertising & Marketing Technology division. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and optimization algorithms that enhance ad delivery efficiency and maximize campaign performance. You will take ownership of projects from initial hypothesis formulation and feature engineering to model deployment and ongoing refinement in production environments. Your insights and innovations will directly impact the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, helping clients achieve their marketing goals through data-driven strategies.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your technical expertise and creativity will be valued. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, engineers, and operations—to translate complex business requirements into actionable data solutions. The role requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for leveraging data science to solve challenging problems in digital advertising.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in data analysis and machine learning, with a strong proficiency in Python and SQL. A solid understanding of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and visualization tools is essential. Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing frameworks like Spark and BigQuery is required, along with the ability to develop reproducible analytics workflows.

A strong foundation in statistics, probability, and experimental design—particularly A/B testing and causal inference—is necessary. Candidates should have experience building and deploying various ML models, including regression, classification, tree-based methods, and basic neural networks, with robust evaluation strategies. Knowledge of digital advertising concepts, such as CTR/CVR prediction, bidding strategies, and KPI optimization, or similar domains, is highly advantageous. Practical experience in production ML systems, including monitoring and drift detection, is also essential.

Excellent communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present insights clearly. A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field is mandatory. Fluency in English, with a TOEIC score of 800+ or equivalent, is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Define optimization problems related to ad delivery, establishing KPIs, metrics, and monitoring dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform comprehensive data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model development for tasks such as price optimization, CTR/CVR prediction, and creative performance analysis.
  • Conduct offline evaluations and simulations to validate models before online deployment, followed by implementing A/B testing strategies to measure effectiveness.
  • Implement MLOps practices, including developing training and inference pipelines, monitoring model performance, detecting data drift, and automating rollbacks to maintain model quality and compliance with privacy standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, actionable data solutions that improve campaign outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, optimization techniques, and digital advertising trends to continuously enhance model performance and system efficiency.
