Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Scientist with 12 years of experience to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will analyze structured and unstructured data, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights to support strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from multiple sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models for prediction and classification tasks.
- Apply statistical techniques to solve business problems and validate hypotheses.
- Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
- Create dashboards and visual reports to communicate insights effectively.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed.
- Document methodologies, workflows, and model performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12 years of hands-on experience in data analysis or data science roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Experience with data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Good understanding of machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering).
- Solid foundation in statistics and probability concepts.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
