Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Data Scientist with 6+ years of hands-on experience in advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end data science initiatives, develop scalable predictive solutions, and influence high-impact business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advanced Data Analysis & Strategy
- Lead exploratory data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Define data-driven strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Design robust data pipelines and workflows for scalable analytics solutions.
- Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
2. Machine Learning & Model Development
- Architect, build, and deploy advanced machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering, NLP, time-series forecasting, recommendation systems).
- Perform feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and validation.
- Implement model monitoring, performance tracking, and retraining strategies.
- Drive best practices in MLOps, model governance, and reproducibility.
- Optimize models for production deployment and scalability.
3. Statistical Modeling & Experimentation
- Apply advanced statistical techniques for hypothesis testing and causal inference.
- Design and analyze A/B tests and controlled experiments.
- Develop forecasting and predictive analytics models to support long-term planning.
- Ensure statistical rigor and reliability of analytical outputs.
4. Data Visualization & Executive Communication
- Develop executive-level dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
- Present insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Influence strategic decision-making through data storytelling.
5. Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define data requirements.
- Contribute to the development of data science standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Drive innovation through research and adoption of new methodologies and tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics roles.
- Strong programming expertise in Python and/or R.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
- SQL (complex queries, optimization, data modeling)
- Deep understanding of:
- Machine learning algorithms and model evaluation metrics
- Statistical inference, probability, and experimental design
- Data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience in model deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps frameworks.
