Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist (8–10 years) to drive analytics in the insurance domain. This is a client-facing role requiring strong ML expertise, hands-on modeling, and the ability to independently deliver insights and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EDA, feature engineering, and hypothesis testing for fraud/anomaly detection
- Build and optimize ML models (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost)
- Apply NLP/LLM techniques on unstructured data (claims, notes, documents)
- Develop GenAI solutions (RAG, prompt engineering, insight generation)
- Write production-ready code in Python & SQL
- Work with large datasets on GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage)
- Present insights to technical and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive projects end-to-end
Required Skills
- 7–10 years in Data Science / ML
- Strong statistics, hypothesis testing, and ML fundamentals
- Expertise in tree-based/ensemble models
- Hands-on with SQL and Python
- Experience with LLMs/GenAI (OpenAI, Gemini, Llama, etc.)
- Exposure to GCP (BigQuery preferred)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
