Data Scientist

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Experience with smart maintenance using Databricks and large language models (LLMs).
• Experience deploying models (ML or LLM) outside Cognite and consuming them through Cognite API.
• Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
• Experience with deep learning and neural networks, particularly for LLMs.
• Expertise in natural language processing (NLP) techniques for text processing, sentiment analysis, and language generation.
• Experience working with models like GPT and BERT.
• Building conversational agents using LLMs and ML workflows.
• Techniques for model evaluation (e.g., cross-validation, A/B testing).
• Experience with JSON, REST APIs, and Data Modeling.
• Strong experience with Databricks integrate with Azure services such as Azure Data Lake and Azure Blob Storage.
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and Spark for data transformation and writing code in notebooks for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Ability to integrate data from different sources.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and deployment.

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes for automating ML model and data pipeline deployment.
