Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to enhance your career by innovative banking solutions.

As a Data Scientist within the Consumer & Community Banking - Data & Analytics team, you leverage advance analytics and AI/ML to support product teams, build analytical solutions, guide strategic business decisions, and enable growth initiatives. You will partner closely with Product, Technology, Design, Risk, and other cross-functional teams to translate complex business questions into analytical and AI/ML solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in developing our generative AI use cases and approach while focusing on Affluent Segment Analytics. Your work will involve leveraging your technical skills and business acumen to collaboratively design and implement end-to-end solutions with tangible commercial impact for our clients and customers.

Job responsibilities

  • Design and develop data-driven and AI solutions to solve complex business problems
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to generate actionable insights and recommendations
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and intelligent systems
  • Develop and deploy machine learning and generative AI models
  • Translate business needs into analytical frameworks and technical solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and design
  • Define problem statements, success metrics, and measure business impact
  • Monitor model performance and continuously improve solution effectiveness
  • Develop scalable frameworks for integrating AI into business applications
  • Support data-driven decision-making and strategic growth initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or AI ML
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Understanding of AI models, including large language model (LLM) capabilities and limitations.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data-driven decision-making, and pattern identification.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and SDLC concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to translate data insights into business recommendations
  • Effective communication and collaboration across teams

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with generative AI or large language model applications
  • Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks or similar tools
  • Experience building dashboards or data visualization solutions Tableau and Alteryx
  • Knowledge of conversational AI or intelligent automation solutions
  • Exposure to financial services or analytics domains
