Job Title: Data Scientist – AI/ML & Healthcare Analytics

Location: Bengaluru / Chennai / Pune / Hyderabad

Experience Required: 4 - 10 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist with strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and predictive analytics to build scalable and impactful AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in developing advanced models, strong programming skills, and the ability to proactively solve complex business and technical challenges.

Candidates with prior exposure to the Healthcare or Insurance domain and experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for business use cases
• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights and predictive outcomes
• Design scalable AI/ML solutions while anticipating potential modeling and operational challenges proactively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Analysts, Product Teams, and Business Stakeholders
• Implement and maintain production-ready ML pipelines and workflows
• Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in model development and deployment
• Contribute to model evaluation, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Work with cloud-native data and AI platforms within the GCP ecosystem

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
• Strong experience in Deep Learning model development
• Proficiency in Python with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
• Ability to identify risks, anticipate challenges, and proactively resolve issues in both modeling and non-modeling scenarios
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and modern ML workflows

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in Healthcare or Insurance domain
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as:
• Vertex AI
• BigQuery
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML deployment and model lifecycle management
• Exposure to MLOps practices and scalable AI architectures

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Experience working in Agile environments is a plus
