Role: Decision Scientist
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
We are hiring a Decision Scientist in Analytics to drive product and business decisions through data. This role combines strong product understanding, data science depth, and experimentation expertise to identify growth opportunities, improve user outcomes, and infl uence strategy with evidence-backed recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership teams to solve high-impact business problems.
- Define success metrics, build analytical frameworks, and translate ambiguous questions into measurable hypotheses.
- Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests and experiments; communicate outcomes and recommendations clearly.
- Lead deep-dive analyses on user behavior, funnel performance, retention, and monetization.
- Build predictive models and decision-support tools for prioritization and opportunity sizing.
- Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, narratives, and executive-ready presentations.
- Improve experimentation and measurement standards across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Decision Science, Product Analytics, Data Science, or related analytical roles.
- Strong understanding of product analytics and product decision-making.
- Hands-on expertise in statistics, hypothesis testing, causal inference basics, and experimental design.
- Proven experience running and analyzing A/B tests end-to-end.
- Strong SQL and Python (or R) skills for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
- Good knowledge of AI and Machine Learning, including predictive analytics and model interpretation.
- Experience applying ML methods for business use cases such as cross-sell propensity and outcome prediction.
- Ability to simplify complex analysis into clear business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with advanced ML models such as XGBoost, gradient boosting methods, andensemble techniques.
- Experience building or operationalizing predictive models in product or growth environments.
- Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern data stacks.
- Experience working in fast-paced product-led organizations.
