About the Role

As a Data Science Specialist in our Corporate Solutions Advanced Data Science team, you'll harness cutting-edge technologies to transform raw, complex data into robust, scalable AIpowered systems. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly influence business outcomes through innovative data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a technically sophisticated team of data scientists and data engineers located within and outside Bangalore
• Translate business needs into specific quantitative questions answerable with available data using sound methodologies
• Lead end-to-end data initiatives including data ingestion, transformation, solution development, and advanced AI/ML model deployment
• Establish and maintain AI engineering and data science best practices, and model governance frameworks
• Design and develop frameworks for automated testing of data pipelines and machine learning artifacts
• Deploy models into production by building APIs or leveraging ETL pipelines
• Utilize a wide variety of open-source technologies to create innovative solutions

About You

You're an analytical problem-solver who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys translating complex business challenges into data-driven solutions. You combine technical expertise with business understanding to create meaningful impact through innovative data science applications.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• University degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or comparable education/equivalent experience), with strong programming and data analytical skills
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Machine Learning, AI, Data engineering, big data projects
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, TypeScript/JavaScript and SQL
• Experience in end-to-end development of modern GenAI applications (RAG, intelligent document processing, chatbot solutions)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines and deploying ML and AI models

These are additional nice to haves:

• Hands-on experience in using Palantir Foundry's apps
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Experience in the re/insurance industry
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
