Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Data Science Specialist Domain Translator, based in Hyderabad. We are looking for an experienced Data Science Specialist with a strong background in Cheminformatics and hands-on experience in designing and developing AI models. The ideal candidate shall have a solid understanding of data science principles and domain-specific knowledge in cheminformatics, particularly in Computer Aided Drug Design (CADD) and AI-driven drug discovery (AIDD).

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop AI models with a strong understanding of non-functional & functional requirements
2. Research & Implement robust and scalable AI solutions using computational and generative Chemistry & Biology as per the trends of AIDD (AI Driven Drug Discovery):
3. Collaborate with cross-functional business, UI development, Data Engineering & DevOps team to define, design, deploy and maintain end to end AI products

Qualifications:

1. Strong working domain knowledge of AIDD using Cheminformatics for Pharma/Life Sciences. Candidates from NIPER Hyderabad/NIPER Mohali/similar institution will be preferred
2. Strong working knowledge of popular and widely used LLMs, ML, DL and RL. Must have done minimum of 2 projects end to end.
3. Strong working knowledge of data science tools & frameworks like Jupyter, Visual Studio Code/PyCharm. Pytorch, Keras, ML Flow etc..
4. Working knowledge of relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server (preferably)
5. Working Knowledge in Agile methodologies using Azure DevOps (preferably)
